- Controls: Arrow Left / Right to shift, Arrow Down for a faster drop, Arrow Up to rotate. On touch, use Left, Right, Down, and Rotate.
- Clear lines: complete a full horizontal row to clear it and add to your Score.
- Game over: if locked pieces reach the top spawn row, the round ends and your Score displays.
- Tip: leave tidy gaps so you can finish rows without walling yourself in.
Game description
Tetrominoes arrive one at a time into a vertical well, each piece a small geometry puzzle asking where it can live without orphaning awkward holes. You translate, rotate, and accelerate descent until the shape locks; completed rows erase and grant a moment of relief while gravity pulls what remains tighter. Let the stack kiss the ceiling and the round ends, which makes every placement a negotiation between now and ten moves ahead. The drama is spatial: a single jagged gap can echo through the rest of the game until it finally demands payment.
This browser version keeps controls familiar—arrows for motion, a faster drop when you need gravity as an ally, rotation to wiggle out of tight corners, and on-screen buttons that mirror those choices for touch. There is no campaign map to unlock, only a well, a score, and the honest feedback of a misaligned lock. Players learn to stage flat landings for the long straight piece, to avoid stacking cliffs that trap zig shapes, and to breathe after a bad drop instead of compounding it with frantic spins. Sessions reward foresight and recovery in equal measure; the score climbs when calm decisions chain together. Open a tab, start, and the well is waiting—a compact arena where geometry and patience share the same joystick.
